Tenant Fees & Terms
Elite Lettings & Property Management Limited
Holding Deposit
Upon applying for a rental property, a holding deposit equivalent to one week’s rent is required.
Once paid, the property will be taken off the market and no further viewings will be conducted.
- You withdraw your application
- Your application is declined due to undisclosed information
This includes:
- Undisclosed CCJs, IVAs, or bankruptcy
- Undisclosed rent arrears from previous landlords
Please ensure all information provided is accurate before making payment.
Tenancy Changes
Applies to adding or removing a tenant from the agreement.
Lost Keys
If no spare is available, full lock replacement costs will apply.
Missed Appointments
Applies if you are not present for pre-arranged inspections or maintenance visits.
Tenant Insurance
Tenants are responsible for arranging their own contents insurance.
Landlords are not liable for damage or loss of personal belongings due to:
- Fire
- Flood
- Maintenance issues
- Power outages
Any claims must be made through your own insurance provider.
